MOUNTAIN

Stage Design · Dance Theatre · 2025

Role: Stage Designer
Duration: 40 min
Cast: 7 dancers + 1 actor

Final Stage Realisation

What I Designed

01 — Act-by-Act Scenic Transition

The stage transforms through stacking, draping, and reconfiguring everyday objects. Tables and chairs shift from functional props into a climbable mountain structure.

Full Sequence

02 — Designed Elements & Symbolic Props

Symbolic props were developed as extensions of the performers and the shifting landscape. Their forms, textures and colours echo the visual language of the mountain while remaining lightweight enough for movement and manipulation on stage.

03 — Production Graphics

Posters displayed across university campuses in London.

City Connections

Barts Hospital North Wing · London · 2026

WIILMA 7th Anniversary

A community fashion show and sing-along celebrating WIILMA’s 7th anniversary, staged within the historic Barts Hospital North Wing.

Role

Scenic & Set Visualiser / AV Support

Design Approach

Soft linear lighting defines a welcoming runway while preserving the character of the historic hall. My contribution covered the spatial concept, runway lighting research and AV planning, with a focus on a practical, reusable solution within the event’s limited budget.
