This project explores how a relationship with a narcissist gradually distorts perception and identity.
concept development
The longer the audience stays in the interaction, the more “fog” fills the brain.
Mirror Experiment (Unrealised Direction)
1. Fragmented Rotating Mirror
A mirror that breaks and rotates,
expressing the fragmentation of identity.
2. Segmented Reflection Mirror
A grid structure that shifts the reflected face into misalignment.
3. Flexible Distortion Surface
A soft reflective surface that bends
and distorts like unstable emotion.
4. Liquid Reflection Experiment
A liquid-based reflection exploring fluid
and unstable perception
Early experiments with fragmented mirrors and liquid reflections explored instability and distortion.
However, these approaches lacked control, leading to a shift toward a screen-based system.
